Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE have now released a free version of Battlefield 4 for all PlayStation 3 users. The Full Game Trial for Battlefield 4 can be found in the PlayStation Network Store under the full game trial tab or right next to the full game download. This is not your typical limited demo or level, though, as this trial lasts for one week and comes with the entire game free of charge for that period of time. That means all singleplayer levels, every multiplayer map, game mode, update, and even access to the full 64 player competitive multiplayer.
This is all hot on the heels of the latest update for Battlefield 4, which was massive, improving and adding a lot of much-needed features. This fall update was an attempt to listen to player and fan feedback through the Community Test Environment. Just a few of the updates are improving weapon sighting, player movements, and the HUD (display). Visceral Games also announced alongside EA that they are delaying the next entry in the series, Battlefield Hardline, to 2015 to avoid having the type of infamously terrible launch that Battlefield 4 had. The developers even said that they expect to have a much smoother and cleaner launch for Hardline. Let us know in the comments below if you’re interested in Hardline and if you will take advantage of this free trial. And for all things Battlefield, keep it locked right here.
